Our last two pediatric dentists stopped accepting Delta Insurance. We don't get reimbursed enough to continue seeing a dentist who doesn't take Delta. Does anyone have recent good experiences with pediatric dentists around Albany/Berkeley/El Cerrito/Pinole/neighboring areas that takes Delta? Our kid has cavities so we would like to make it as kid-friendly as possible since it will be scary to get cavities filled.

–Aug 22, 2023Forgive me - I know this question has been asked before but does anyone have a rec for a good family/adult dentist that takes Delta (in-network?). Our dentist is no longer taking it and the last visit we had cost a ton! Anywhere in the Richmond, El Cerrito, Albany, Berkeley area. Thank you so much!
Aug 22, 2023Looking for a New Adult Dentist accepting Delta
–Jan 9, 2023Our wonderful dentist no longer accepts Delta, so we are looking. Good hands, calm manner for dentist-shy adults. Thanks
Jan 9, 2023Dentist that accepts Delta Dental?
–Oct 5, 2021Hi,
We have been with Aloha pediatric dentistry for almost 10 years and we love them, however they recently left Delta Dental and we are finding that we can't get reimbursed on our own so we are looking for a dentist for teens who accepts Delta Dental. Any recs?
Thanks!
Oct 5, 2021Root canal with Delta Dental
–Sep 20, 2021There is a small chance I will need a root canal in the near future. I have Delta Dental insurance. Can anyone recommend an experienced endodontist or dentist in the area who takes Delta Dental who does this? I live in Berkeley but am willing to travel to get the best care.
Sep 20, 2021Our dentist is no longer accepting Delta
–Jun 2, 2021Hello - we're sad to have learned that our dentist that we love (Aloha Pediatric) is no longer taking our insurance (Delta). Do you have any recommendations for a pediatric dentist, preferably taking Delta? Thank you

Feb 18, 2021Seeking pediatric dentist in-network Delta Dental
–Jan 10, 2021I'm seeking a highly recommended pediatric dentist in Berkeley (or nearby) that accepts Delta Dental as in-network. As of June 2021, Aloha Dentistry will no longer be in-network and apparently many other practices won't be accepting it as well.
Thank you!

My employer provides Delta Dental PPO, and an old dentist once told me that most dentists only accept this one. I don't know if it is available for private purchase
If you have the option of choosing Delta Dental PPO instead of DeltaCare--some employers offer both, but the PPO costs more--they are in network for several local pediatric practices (including Uptown Pediatrics in Oakland, where our kids go). I've found the DeltaCare network pretty lousy in general. For a couple of years when we didn't have the PPO plan as an option, we just paid out of pocket and it was also pretty reasonable.
Uptown Pediatric Dentistry accepts Delta, and everyone there is fabulous!
Highly recommend Primary Kids Teeth https://www.primarykidsteeth.com
We’ve had great experiences with Aloha Pediatric Dentistry — very very good and patient with first-time experiences.
We have Delta PPO and we see Dr. Carl at Uptown Pediatric Dentistry. He has been great. I definitely recommend checking them out.
I also have Delta Dental and had a good experience taking my 2 year old for the first time to Primary Teeth Pediatric Dentistry. It was just for a cleaning but the Dr. was really nice and patient.
We started our 1-year-old at Primary Teeth on Telegraph in Berkley. Dr. Evan is kid-friendly and takes Delta Dental.
e are in the same boat! I would recommend Ford Dental in El Cerrito. My husband and I have been going there for years, and they were actually very helpful when I mentioned the situation. Ford Dental is a father-and-son duo, and they do a great job! The son works with kids. Both my 13-year-old and 9-year-old have gone there for exams and cleanings, and it has gone very well. I highly recommend them! Even though it’s not a traditional pediatric dentist, they do an excellent job.
POW Dental in Albany. Very kid-friendly and takes our Delta Dental.
Another vote for Uptown Pediatric Dentistry! Everyone who works there is excellent.
Solano Smiles accepts Delta Dental and we have had a good experience there.
We just had to switch because our dentist stopped taking delta. We switched to Primary Teeth in Berkeley and had a great experience.
