YWCA Berkeley/Oakland
Community Subscriber2600 Bancroft Way, Berkeley, CA 94704
The YWCA Berkeley/Oakland is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women*, developing leaders, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. The YWCA is a global movement working for the empowerment, leadership, and rights of women*, young women* and girls* in more than 100 countries.
It's not that far back to Hercules at off-commute hours, maybe 20 minutes. The problem with "exploring" Berkeley is parking. Either not available, or expensive. If you can somehow solve the parking problem, check out the Berkeley YWCA, which offers a lot of low-cost classes.

RE: Ballet classes for adults?
YWCA in Berkeley. I took classes ages ago, and with this class at the YWCA is easy to get back re-learning positions, names, etc.. As easy or as hard as you want, and really really enjoyable. Not to mention a good deal ($50 for 6 classes).

RE: Piano recital for 25+ students
I'm a piano teacher with 25+ students. I usually rent the big room at the YWCA on Bancroft Way.
