Wow, thanks for all the helpful responses! Sounds like everyone loves their experience with both Tiny Tots and Earth Baby / Redyper, although some people prefer Redyper's products. And two of the three people who mentioned Nest diapers don't like them. Guess I'll try Tiny Tots and Nest diapers first!

We love Tiny Tots! We have been customers for over 2 years now. Excellent customer service and the diaper options have worked great. We started out with the Nest diapers, but the Nest company changed their design, which didn't hold up to our kiddo's needs, so switched to Bambo, and are loving those. We're in Martinez, but I think they do service Oakland. I have no complaints and would highly recommend this company to friends. Good luck!

We have loved Tiny Tots! They have been consistent and very responsive. When we needed to temporarily change our delivery/pickup address for a few weeks, they easily accommodated us. We are current customers and have been using them since our daughter was born 20 months ago.

We are currently using Tiny Tots (and buying the Nest Diapers through them for our 6 mo) and it's been working really well! Easy to order and they pick up/drop off once a week. No complaints.

We are currently using Tiny Tots and have had a good experience with them. Their customer service is great - I reliably get someone on the phone whenever I call and they are always happy to make changes to my weekly order relatively last-minute. I also like that I can return any unused packages of diapers simply by placing them on my doorstep.

We used Tiny Tots pre-pandemic with cloth diapers. Great service. I think we had to call to make changes to our orders?

Now we use Redyper for compostable. Also great service and very easy to navigate website/update your orders.

In Berkeley.

We loved Tiny Tots!! They have amazing service and are very helpful and friendly. They also have a store that you can order other baby stuff and they’ll drop it right off with your diapers. Definitely helps, especially in those early newborn days!!

I love Tiny Tots.  They have fantastic customer service, pickups are super reliable.  We really like the Bambo diapers.   I've never used Redyper/Earth Baby.

We used Tiny Tots and they were fantastic! Super convenient, great customer service. Highly recommend!

We used Tiny Tots and they are great! they are a local family company that's been around for 50+ years. The delivery people and admin are all super friendly and flexible. We used them for a year and had nothing but great service!

Hi! Just made the switch from TT to Earthbaby only because we wanted to start using pull-ups for our 1.5 yo and TT didn’t offer them. Have been very happy with both services—delivery & pick-up is a godsend! (Despite my husband’s fears that “it will stink,” weekly pick-up and garage storage have meant it’s never been a problem!)

I loved our time with tiny tots.
Ed always picked up diapers, we liked The bambo diapers they sold, we also bought lotion and bath wash through them, and they were always lovely and accommodating when we had a question or request.

one of their people that answer the phone has the voice and demeanor of a grizzled war vet which I found a delightful juxtaposition for a diaper service :)

We used Tiny Tots twice and loved them. Great customer service.

Tiny Tots diaper service.  We used them for 3 years.  They take away the dirty ones and deliver you clean ones, it was great.  If I recall correctly they had information on their website about their cleaning methods/water consumption.

I used tiny tots for three kids and the service was great. They have been around for years, offer compostable diapers in addition to cloth, delivery of baby items from their store, are a local family run business and I am pretty sure they use a low water method to wash their diapers.

Compostable Diapers? (Dec 17, 2018)

Second vote here for Tiny Tots -- for the last 2 1/2 years, we've done "combo" service, cloth + compostable (cloth at home during the day, compostables at night/with sitters/out and about), and they have maybe the best customer service of any company I've ever worked with. If I forget to put our diapers out on pickup day, they will give us a full week's "loan" no questions asked; if our daughter starts soaking through her jammies they have a list of suggestions on how to troubleshoot; if something looks weird (like we're only supposed to receive 10 new diapers in a given week) they will always email to check in; and generally they are great, friendly folks. Will definitely use again if we have another baby!

Compostable Diapers? (Dec 17, 2018)

I will second that vote of confidence for Tiny Tots! We use their cotton diaper service, they also have compostable diapers as part of their service as well. We only use disposable diapers overnight because they tend to feel less wet on the baby's skin, but otherwise the cotton works great. We don't have laundry in our unit so it's extra nice to have someone to take the dirty diapers away for us. Be warned, if you end up using the compostable diapers, and I've heard this is true of the Naty brand as well as the bamboo ones that we tried, the sizing is way off. Our baby didn't fit in the "size 1" diapers until he was 15 pounds, even though they are supposedly OK for newborns. We had a lot of leaks before we realized this was the case.

Congrats! We also use Tiny Tots and they've been great. We started with cloth/compostable combo and progressed to just compostable. Couldn't be happier with it. We're down to just one pull-up at night, but still using the service until we let go of that last one. Feeling good that almost none of our diapers have ended up in a landfill. On weekend trips, we'd collect them in a compostable bag inside a trash bag to bring home. As a new first time parent, it was a huge boon to have a diaper service.

We also use tiny tots, but their combo option which allows us to use both cloth diapers and they deliver us compostable diapers. We tend to use cloth during the day and compostable at night when we want to make changes quicker. We throw everything in the same bag and put it out for tiny tots to pick up once a week. So far it’s been fantastic.

Compostable Diapers? (Dec 17, 2018)

Congratulations!

We use cloth diapers through Tiny Tots diaper service (based in the South Bay) and they are great.  They deliver all over the Bay Area.  We've never tried compostable diapers mostly because (1) the cloth work just fine, (2) I'm of the theory (albeit unconfirmed by me) that cloth diapers use fewer resources in the log run since you are reusing the same material over and over again rather than spending resources/packaging to create new ones, and (3) you must use a diaper service to compost diapers correctly (most local garbage collections categorize compostable diapers as trash due to the human waste element and cannot be put in the green bucket - but check with your trash provider).  If you're up for it, you don't even need the diaper service with cloth - you can just wash them yourself.
