Gym with childcare on site? (Dec 29, 2022)
I’m in the same boat and left equinox as they no longer provide the service. Lakeridge athletic in el sobrante is the only gym I’ve found so far that provides on site childcare. I called and confirmed that the service is still up and running.

My husband is a member but we have not used the Kids Club. There’s a two hour minimum and we have two kids. While I’d love for him to take them, $24/day winds up being almost $400/month in childcare per month (assuming four days/week at the gym). I go to the Dailey method, which offers childcare for the duration of the class and winds up being half the cost. Please encourage them to eliminate the two hour minimum so we can trade off!
We love Kids Club. Everyone who works there is very nice.
I can’t help with equinox but I will say that I have been happy with the childcare at the ymca in Berkeley. My daughter started there at 8 weeks old and we go most days.
I’m a Equinox ( Berkeley)member and have been so since they opened spring 2017. It’s a great gym. I have used the kids club for our son a handful of times and had a nice experience. Usually for like 2 hours or less at a time. The room is not as airy/light and large as the rooms on the website ( taken from their other gyms I’m guessing) but it’s ok and works for a short time. The staff has always been lovely and interacts nicely with the kids, and our son found entertaining toys to play with. You get a pager to take with you should they need you. I think during busy hours you can reserve a space ( never done that) I have just shown up and it haven’t been a problem. I would take a tour and ask to look at the kids club room.
hope this helps
