Brilliant Births

We just went through the process of getting connected to doulas through Brilliant Births. It's a collective of birth and night doulas. There is an intake person that sends a message to their collective describing the family's needs and then the doulas respond if they are interested. You can inquire with Brilliant Births in Berkeley on 4th street. I participated in baby prep and infant RIE class there last year and I believe they had a toddler group as well. Instructors name is Jennifer Doebler.

We had a great experience with the hypnobirthing class at Brilliant Births. Husband and I both learned a lot of very practical and applicable things. (I had a home birth, but most people attending were hoping to low intervention hospital births)

My spouse and I took a one-day class at Brilliant Births in Berkeley and thought it was great. It was interactive, useful, practical, and the time flew! If I'd had time, I would have wanted to do the longer courses, but that wasn't possible for us. The trickiest part is parking in the area (Fourth Street). But I thought the class was well worth it. 

Hello - I want to second the recommendation for the Brilliant Births support group. It is a wonderful group and resource - the facilitator, Danielle, is also very helpful. The group is donation-based. I highly recommend.
