Does your child love animals and learning on outdoor adventures, not just from home on screens? We hear the call of the wild! K-5th graders explore, hike, play, and learn in outdoor nature camps. Vacaville, Berkeley, Oakland, and Cupertino camps have small groups up to ten children. Kids share a love of nature, create nature-inspired art, journal, read and write nature stories, learn biology and environmental science, play games, make new friends, and more! Campers enjoy learning by doing and emergent curriculum to explore their interests.
Theme weeks for some Call of the Wild Camps: Enchanted Forest Art, Enchanted Vegan Nature, Enchanted Forest Reading, Enchanted Forest Writing, and Trailblazers!
Dedicated teens enjoy FREE Counselor in Training (CIT) internships to develop job skills.
Our family loves Call of the Wild Camp in Berkeley and Oakland. They are all outdoors and focus on both nature education and play and exploration with hikes, nature walks, scavenger hunts, games, an outdoor library of sorts with book reading, storytelling and nature journal activities that include drawing/coloring. My son loves the mix of outdoor education and free play.
