My 2 year old takes lessons with the British Swim School and loves it. I chose it because it was the only place with any openings but we've been going now for almost a year and we're really happy with them. We go to the one at the 24 Hour Fitness on San Pablo & Moeser in El Cerrito, and all of the teachers there are great. They do have another location somewhere in Richmond as well.
British Swim School is excellent but not inexpensive.
