Where to live in London with kids

Hi parents! We'll be moving to London this summer for my husband's job. We have a 17-month-old and will be trying for #2 sometime in the near future. Is there anyone out there that has lived in, traveled extensively in, or is from London and can recommend family-friendly neighborhoods to help us focus our apartment/house hunting? My husband's office will be near Cavendish Square and we'd like to keep his commute to 30-45 minutes. We'll likely be there for 2-3 years. Thank you!
