Where to buy an oak bookcase?

Other than Ikea and Fenton MacLaren, where does one buy an oak bookcase in the east bay? Over the years, I've purchased them at the Sawmill, Gorman and Sons, and Fenton MacLaren, but the first two have gone out of business, and the latter no longer sells the bullnose style that I prefer. Thanks!

Hi! We got two solid oak bookcases for free off of Craigslist last year. Mills College was getting rid of a TON of them and had a whole storage unit with dozens of bookcases.

Original writer here: I found just what I was looking for at Poor Honey in East Oakland at a great price! Posting here just in case others have the same question in the future.

As a craigslist obsessed person, I also highly recommend craigslist. There are SO many oak bookcases on there simply because oak is not as in-fashion at the moment. You will find a variety of options...and even more if you're patient and keep looking. Facebook marketplace has even more stuff, from what I can tell, but I'm not on facebook so that's a no-go for me.

Hello, we bought a nice bookcase at Hoot Judkins Furniture. They have many size and styles, and they also customize their products. They're located at 1269 Veterans Blvd in Redwood City.
