Thanksgiving Catering Recommendations

Hi BPN,

I am looking for Thanksgiving catering recommendations. I am open to both “traditional” Thanksgiving and non-traditional ideas. We are having a small gathering (4 adults, two kids) but I am feeling overwhelmed by the prep this year and would love to outsource.

Rick and Ann's! They just posted their Thanksgiving catering menu. Their food is always delicious.

I'm outsourcing too!  Two places I've used in the past:

  • Ann's catering (aka Rick and Ann's) - really delicious food, can order by the serving. Lobster bisque and canapes on Thanksgiving!
  • Jessie & Laurent - lots of choices for Thanksgiving week, the food is good, and they deliver!

Two other places with Thanksgiving order ahead and pickup:

  • Burdell's in Oakland - I'm getting their cornbread dressing and collards!
  • Brenda's also in Oakland - love their New Orleans flavors!

Horn BBQ has a Thanksgiving catering menu, and I expect Market Hall does also.

I’ve been using Whole Foods for Thanksgiving dinner for a few years now and I couldn’t be happier. Their online ordering/in store pickup system is well organized and hassle free and everyone always loves the food.
