Tennis lessons (summer)
Hello,
As this unique summer moves along, we’re looking for a teacher to give some tennis lessons to our ten year old son.
Alexander Winslow has been recommended but must be out of range for the summer. Berkeley Tennis Club, Claremont and Aztec are offering camps and some lessons but are there any other options?
Thanks!

Our daughter has done several weeks of tennis camp this summer at the Oakland Hills Tennis Club. They offer the camp to members and non-members. I am not a tennis player myself so I cannot speak to the quality of the instruction, but she has enjoyed herself and learned a lot. I think they will have more camps in August.
Hello there, this is Alexander Winslow, owner of the Winslow Tennis Academy. My assistant coach and I are here and teaching tennis full-time at Harding Park, on Ashbury Ave. in El Cerrito. (My Berkeley location, the Rose Garden, is now undergoing a major redevelopment project and so those courts are unavailable.) Apologies to any folks who have tried to reach me and haven't yet received a response, as I've been swamped with inquiries. Our schedules are mostly full, but different openings occur every week with regular students sometimes coming and going, leaving town for vacation, etc., and so I'm delighted to make room in the schedule for new customers by taking advantage of these opportunities. In keeping with health and safety guidelines, we are teaching only private and semi-private lessons no groups, clinics or camps. My rate is $80/hour and Coach Nathan's rate is $60/hour. For those who are still interested in lessons, please send me an email at: alexander [at] winslowtennisacademy.com Please do not call. Thank you!
Our family has used Aztec and Winslow and they are both good. Since you have provided no specifics as to what you are seeking, can’t recommend anyone else and would not know why you would need to look elsewhere. Both have been good options for our family....
