Tennis lessons for adults?
Does anyone offer beginner tennis lessons or have a group of people doing lessons? Preferably at the San Pablo park tennis courts. I have a one year old and want to find a new hobby and friends outside of baby things!!

Not at San Pablo park but the City of Berkeley offers beginner and intermediate tennis lessons through the recreation dept and they are very good. I've taken them (at Cedar Rose and Kenney Parks I believe) and they were a fun way to do something active and meet others. There are also some private tennis schools that advertise on the courts at King Park on Hopkins St in North Berkeley. Maybe drive by and call the number to see what you think. I have friends who have taken though those programs as well for kids and they were great.
ARPD (Alameda) has a great tennis program for kids and adults, and tons of courts!
