Summer geometry options for high school student

My 9th grade son is looking to complete Geometry over the summer. He is excellent at math and completed Algebra with strong grades, but was not able to take Geometry this year due to class scheduling conflicts. His counselor has recommended taking Geometry at a community college over the summer, but I know not all of them have high-school level math courses.

Can anyone share their experience with summer Geometry options, particularly at local community colleges? We are also considering ATDP but I hear the summer math courses there are  more intense and the cost is higher. He is open to self-paced online programs as well, but I am not sure which ones his high school is likely to accept for credit.

For self-paced online programs, check out Math Academy! It is WASC certified, which ostensibly means it should be accepted by any school. My 8th grader has been using this platform for the last couple years as a supplement for school, and she loves it. We learned about it from a tutor she had for a bit; it was developed by Pomona Unified. Some kids might find it dry (no colorful graphics, no explanatory videos) but for someone who enjoys working through problems and concepts independently and likes the responsive model, it can be great. (You can also try it for a month and see what he thinks.)

In choosing a class, I would be careful to find one that covers the full curriculum. Geometry is central to PreCalc/Trig and Calculus. So if your student is planning to continue taking math to that level, he will need to be prepared.
