Puerto Vallarta December trip combining families

We’re hoping to go to Puerto Vallarta this Christmas with our families. We’ll be bringing together three or four different groups, mostly grandparents (2 of which are divorced from each other) and two small kids- so ease will be a priority.
Any recommendations on an resort, on a walkable beach, is kid-friendly, and possibly all-inclusive? Our budget is about $2,000 per couple for 5 nights.  Thank you

We stayed at the Iberostar in Punta Mita (fly into Puerto Vallarta and it's about a 40 or so minute trip from the airport) and it was great. We took our 1 year old and 5 year old and my parents. Not sure what the rates are during the holidays but they were super reasonable for a random Oct trip. The beach was lovely, the kids loved both the big pool and the kids pool, which has a little water slide, and the food was good. Anyway, would totally recommend.

We're a big fan of All Inclusive resorts for multi-generation vacations. Hyatt Ziva is a nice, family friendly resort. Its beach is quite nice and swimmable. We have always enjoyed staying at Ziva. Another resort we've considered but haven't been to is Fiesta Americana. Both resorts have kids club, entertainment, decent food, friendly staff, pools, beach, etc.

Hyatt Ziva and Velas Vallarta are good all inclusive resorts in PV. Ziva has the best beach. Velas Vallarta has a lazy river and good food. Marival Emotions has a nice beach and better than most evening shows for everyone. It is fun for kids but it also has an adults section for those who prefer to limit kid interaction.

We went to Barceló in PV for Spring Break this year with extended family as a family trip. https://www.barcelo.com/en-us/barcelo-puerto-vallarta

I have been going to this spot for many moons and it is a lovely place for all-inclusive, kid-friendly and respectable price point. It's a ways away from the airport at the southern tip of PV but you don't need to leave once you are there (unless you want to). The beach is small but very close and the pools have something for everyone. It's also where they filmed the Apple+ show Acapulco
