Private school for High Functioning (gifted) 7 year old?

Dear Parents, 

Would be grateful to hear if anyone has a *very* high functioning kid on the spectrum who is at a private elementary school where she is thriving.

I suggest you visit The Academy. It is a very small, academic school. I think it's worth visiting to see if it's a good fit.

Hello-

I would recommend Montessori Family School in El Cerrito. My daughter attended there for 11 years and while she was never diagnosed on the spectrum, there are lots of quirky smart kids who thrive in a peaceful environment that supports students learning at their own pace.
