Oakland sidewalk repair
I recently bought a house in Oakland that requires ~32 sqft of sidewalk work to be in compliance with the city. The seller got an estimate through L.S. Construction that seems high ($1300 for the work and certificate). Does anyone have any recommendations for other companies that might not be so pricey? Thank you.

We got two quotes through Bob Mallder the Happy Handyman and Omega Termite & Pest Control. (Both were recommended by our realtor.) However, our quotes were even higher than yours (possibly our sidewalk was in worse shape). We then learned that if the damage was caused by a city tree (which ours seems to be), then we could call 311 and the city would come out to do an inspection and possibly fix it. So that's what we decided to do instead.
