Oakland School for the Arts-Vocal Music for a kid with IEP
Hi BPN,
It's been years since my last post. I have a incredibly sweet 10 year that is going to middle school next September. She was offered a spot at OSA. Do you know anybody with an IEP or 504 plan that succeeded in this school? I notice they are not part of OUSD special education but have a different SELPA. Which could go either way. Any comments or recommendation would be great. Our other option would be our local school "Montera". Any comments/ experiences would be greatly appreciated.

My daughter is in visual arts and has been struggling OSA for two years. She has received excellent help there, has an IEP and is getting great grades, is learning and improving academic skills.
