Nanny rates
This will be my first time looking for a nanny for my 4 month old son. I am wondering what the range is for a nanny for one infant and the range for a nanny share (looking at this option too) in the East Bay and whether you could point me in the right direction to good sample contracts.
Thanks!

$25-35 for private nanny, higher end of that if very experienced, using own car and/or expected to do light housekeeping.
$20 per family is standard for nanny share
We've paid $30-35 for a single child and $40 total for a share ($20 each).
I just hired a nanny for my 3 month old and her rate is $25/hr. I work from home and still breastfeed my baby during my breaks and lunches, so the nanny helps mainly with keeping the baby on her sleep and eating routine. No housework or anything else is part of her services. Good luck!
We are in a share and each family pays 17.50/hr, so a total of 35/hr since the babies were 4 months old. She cleans the kids stuff that they use and does light meal prep for the babies lunch and snacks, like cutting fruit etc
