looking for a shelf building handyperson

Hi-

Reaching out for recommendations for a good handyperson. Not looking for the highest end work, just someone who can add shelves in various places and rebuild a few cabinets. We thought we found a great person through BPN, but have been feeling strung along for several months now so hoping to find someone who can just get the work done!

Grand Lake area

Thanks!

Hi - might not be exactly what you're looking for but check out Honey Homes. It works a bit different than a traditional handyman but they typically get started within 1-2 weeks and fully employ all of their handypeople (background check, vetted for trade skills, etc.) My Honey Homes handyman has hung shelves, installed cabinets in our bathroom, plus so much more - fixing doors that don't close, swapping out a faucet, hanging string lights, etc. We love it! You can do a free visit to talk through your projects and see how it works within their model.

Hi there -  I use a service for handyman work that I LOVE.  It's called Honeyhomes, and you get a dedicated handyman who gets to know your house, your ongoing projects, etc, and there one of my favorite things is zero stringing along - your handyman is a full time employee of the company and they show up exactly at the time you've scheduled them for.  It's run through an app where you schedule, create a digital to do list and if you need help problem solving, finding parts, etc, there's a whole home office that coordinates.  They'll give you a free walk through and can usually do a small job or two during that time.  Here's the link!  https://honeyh.me/yscV. (full disclosure I get a referral bonus - and I'm obsessed with referring people to them because I'm obsessed with them).

I would highly recommend Simon of Bay Area Closets who i found through BPN archives and have had help w a few different shelf and closet projects.  Simon Shamounoi bayareaclosets [at] gmail.com>
