Personal Trainer for a 45yo couple
Hi! My husband and I are looking for a personal trainer that can meet with us a few times a week to get us strong again. We need somebody that can push us, but also be aware our 45-year-old bodies aren't as strong as they used to be. Thank You!

In Berkeley, I recommend checking out the trainers at Strong Island (on MLK and Virginia). I have been going there for about 5 years and have trained in small groups with Molly (now gone) and Julian. They work with all age ranges, from teens to folks well into their 70s.
Hello,
Eric Nelson owns Stays In Motion Fitness in the Rockridge area of Oakland. He has many years of experience and is great and working with people who have injuries!

Hi! I am working with a trainer now, named Pat who is great! They are actually certified in post partum training as well as many other certs. They are serious and will push you but they are also non judgemental, which I need to stay motivated. Tell Pat that Carbo sent you if you're interested:(415) 368-7208
Also, I am setting up a home gym in the backyard if you're interested in more workout buddies.

I can recommend Your Success My Goal Fitness Camp, www.jefflaynes.com. A good percentage of his clients are middle-aged (like me) and he always provides alternative moves for those creeping ailments. He offers outdoor in-person, Zoom (virtual) group or personal training.
I have really enjoyed working with Pam Grimm. https://pamgfitness.com/. I have worked with Pam virtually since the middle of the pandemic and I've so appreciated her approach and her commitment. I too wanted a trainer who would push me, but also be sensitive to the wear and tear on my 50+ year old body. I definitely recommend Pam!
