Hot tub?
We're really wanting to install a hot tub. But, our backyard is very small and we don't yet have a suitable surface. I think we need to do light / minor landscaping and pour concrete or prepare a suitable surface for the hot tub. We aren't sure what type of professional we need to contact to get the ball rolling.
If we go to a hot tub store, do they also offer landscaping / installation services? (Sorry if this is a silly question... we're clueless) Or do we need a landscape designer / installer first? Does the landscape installer also do hot tub install?
Does the hot tub have to be located close to an electrical outlet?
Do we need to install a drainage system to lead the water away from the house (Our yard is not perfectly leveled.)
Does the water source have to be close to the hot tub?
Thank you.

We bought our house with a broken hot tub, and we redid the deck so that a new one could be installed. We worked with North Bay Spas, and I think you could get a lot of advice from them about landscape and electrical. They do have recommended electricians who can make sure your backyard electricity is ready for a hot tub (and you have a breaker in the right spot per laws), and we do have an electrical outlet near our tub.
Our tub needs to have the water changed 1-2 times a year, and we have a long hose to reach it. When we drain it, we use a hose as a syphon and use it to water the grass nearby.
When they installed our they came out and talked to us about how to maintain it properly. Also, I'll put my vote in for a cover lifter, it makes getting in and out a breeze!
