Current Sterne review?
We are looking into the Sterne School for middle school for our daughter who has ADHD/dyscalculia. She is at grade level but needs support with executive functioning. Currently she is happy and full of curiosity and has friends and likes her current independent elementary school but needs more support than they can provide. I’m hoping to find a middle school where she can be supported and appreciated for who she is. Does anyone have any current reviews for Sterne? Particularly interested in how the commute is from Oakland.

We have a younger daughter with ADHD and dyslexia (dyseidetic). I can't speak from personal experience but our neighbor, who we call her our third child, goes to Sterne and has the same profile as your daughter. She is graduating this June. Overall she's had a wonderful experience. She's been involved in several of the school groups and mentored others with similar profiles. She's been commuting by Bart the last couple years. Has developed good friends and from what I understand there are several other kids who commute to Sterne from the East Bay and further out.
