Concrete walkway repair

We have an 18" concrete walkway in our backyard which has buckled in one section due to a large dead tree root and has created a bit of a tripping hazard. The section needs to be replaced so we would appreciate recommendations of persons and/or companies which could take on this job and do it well.

I highly recommend Stela Landscaping, owned by Jose Martinez.  https://stelalandscaping.com/       Jose (who goes by Jaime) and his team did an excellent job getting rid of the concrete on our side walkway, because it was completely buckled due to tree roots.   New home insurers demanded that we get rid of that liability.   They put in gravel instead and some stepping stones, and in this particular case, handrails because it slopes.   The price was very reasonable and they were great.  I would hire them again anytime.

I'm very happy with Ramon Peña from Peña's Construction, in Oakland. He did all the concrete foundation and framing for my remodeling project and it turned out great. I hired him again last month to build a French drain and a concrete walkway going from the sidewalk all the way to our ADU in the back (about 80 feet), and I'm again super happy with the results. He's affordable, reliable, honest, communicates well and gets the job done quickly.
