It’s under different ownership now, so I don’t know the current details and offerings, but we LOVED our cake from Sweet Adeline 11.5 years ago. Our preference was for something delicious that also looked pretty in a more simple way (not an elaborate creation). We did a few tastings with “wedding” bakeries that were fine. The samples we tried at Sweet Adeline, and our eventual wedding cake, were super yummy!

We had our wedding cake made by Masse's Bakery in Berkeley 24 years ago. It was beautiful, and Masse's is still wonderful!

Angel Cakes in Oakland does a beautiful job and is reasonable given quality --- beautiful cakes, taste amazing. They do birthdays and such as well.
Masse’s Pastries in Berkley did a wonderful job with ours for a wedding about the same size. Although that was many years agi.
