Move to Atlanta?

My husband and I are considering a move to Atlanta, and would love to tap the BPN community for information on this city.

We currently live in Berkeley, and have two kids under 6 years old.

Would anyone with experience in Atlanta be willing to chat? Or do you know anyone living there now who would be up to connect with us? We are visiting there in the near future, so would love to have a chance to meet with people who know the city well.

In particular- knowledge on the Jewish community, schools, young kids, general thoughts on the progressive-ness of neighborhoods. Is it a friendly place (i.e. we don't really know anyone there- would it be a challenge to meet new people without having grown up in the area?
