Any Recommendations for a Financial Advisor?

Hello BPN community,

My partner and I are looking for a financial advisor and wonder if folks might have any recommendations.

We are new parents and renters, and are trying to understand whether we could afford to buy one day.

Thank you for any recommendations!

My husband is a financial planner, he cannot take new clients, so when people ask him for a referral he recommends Julie Asti, https://astifinancial.com/

We had a great experience w michelle clark peterson at northwestern mutual.
She was patient, warm, and thorough about helping us get a sense of our budget and savings goals.

She’s passionate about her work and takes a holistic and individual approach. Happy to answer any questions you might have as well.

Her number is: 9252965412
You can also do a search for her name and company and read about her online.

My friends in San Francisco consulted with Ravi Davis at Hippocratic Financial (https://hippocratic.com/about) for exactly this reason. They said Ravi helped them understand they were financially ready/capable of buying in the Bay, when previously they hadn't thought they were. They referred us to Ravi when we wanted to get a handle on finances. We didn't talk to him specifically about buying property, but general good practices to protect the assets we had. Ravi was kind, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. He also doesn't charge for these kinds of financial "check-ups." We later worked with Ravi to purchase term life insurance, and he also didn't charge us for that process. I would definitely reach out to Ravi again if I had a similar need. I think Ravi typically works with doctors, but you do not have to be a medical professional to work with him. Wishing you luck!
