Accountant for Freelance Designer/Advice for Single Parent

I lost my accountant in my divorce this year, and am looking for someone who's savvy with freelance, design, and all of the write-offs that go into a small, graphic design business. This is my first year filing as a single parent. I am the custodial parent to my teenage son; hoping to find someone who can advise who claims dependent, et al.

I would also appreciate hearing any feedback from single parents who went through an acrimonious split. Communication is at a standstill.
