Join Us for Read and Play Saturdays! 📚🎉
Looking for a fun and welcoming way to spend a Saturday afternoon with your family? Come to our Read and Play Saturdays at East Bay German International School! This community event is open to families from our school, prospective families, and families from the surrounding community. It’s a fantastic opportunity to explore our vibrant school library, discover a wide selection of German-language books, and enjoy some quality time on our beautiful campus.
In addition to storytime, we also offer outdoor time with balls and free time in our amazing outdoor space for kids to play and explore!

Event Time: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
We invite everyone to join in the fun!
Here’s what to expect:
- Doors open: Families can access the campus via either the 41st or 43rd Street gates.
- Storytime! We encourage reading one or two short stories aloud for about 15-20 minutes, based on the children's ages and interests. It’s a relaxed way to engage kids with books.
- Outdoor Play: After storytime, enjoy some time outside with balls and free play in our spacious outdoor area.
It’s a great chance for families to connect, discover new books, and experience our wonderful library and outdoor spaces. Whether you’re already part of our community, thinking about joining us, or simply looking for a fun event, we’d love to have you!
