Retired math teacher available for tutoring

My name is Doug Harik. I am a retired math teacher and I taught math in public schools for 37 years, and have tutored many students before and after retiring. I am comfortable tutoring middle- school math through pre- calculus. I think I am good at discerning a student's strengths and weaknesses, and in choosing strategies that will help that student achieve. I am able to drive, walk, or use public transport to get around, and prefer to tutor at your home/ workplace, or in a library/ school setting. I charge $60 per hour, which is negotiable, and the first session is free so we see how we work together. Please ask me if you would like references about my work. I enjoy teaching and I enjoy math.
