I have 25+ years experience as a professional tutor in the East Bay, working with middle and high school as well as college level students in three areas:

a. academic: providing instruction in English composition, reading comprehension and analysis as well as grammar remediation;

b. ACT & SAT preparation: providing instruction and test-taking tactics in reading and language sections as well as essay organization and writing;

c. college applications: conferring, planning and working to compose personal statement essays for both the UC and the Common Applications.
