Professional and Impactful Online Math Tutoring!!!!

As a graduate of UC Berkeley with a degree in pure mathematics and current Duke School of Nursing graduate student, I have been teaching and mentoring youth in the Bay Area for 10+ years. I have been teaching/tutoring online for the last 5 years, (prior to covid). Before becoming a teacher, I gained a depth of experience as an SAT and ACT teacher and then went on to start my own tutoring business. 

I'm an educator because I live to empower students. I thoughtfully navigate all their beautiful complexities and prioritize building confidence and curiosity first and foremost. I firmly believe that all students can learn math. Whether they need support with test tasking, (a skill rarely taught in schools), or need extra strategies with their foundational skills, all students can be successful when given the support they need in the ways that they need them. 

Students, parents, and administrators have highlighted how clearly I explain concepts, how patient I am and how intentionally and genuinely I build connections with students. Several of my students have gone on to earn perfect scores after working with me, and parents have often told me that my tutoring was helpful in ways that went beyond the test or class.
