Private Voice Lessons

I teach weekly private lessons in my 3 studio locations: Berkeley, Alameda and Palo Alto. I have over fifteen years experience teaching voice, including the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, the Community School of Music and Arts, Myriad Music School, and Google. 

The vocal technique I teach is in the Bel Canto tradition, focusing on healthy vocal technique and applied across a range of musical styles. Lessons focus on developing breath control, proper vowel formation, diction in English and the Romance languages, song interpretation, auditioning skills, and performance preparation. Musical styles taught include classical, musical theater, jazz, rock, folk, and pop. Students perform on studio recitals and other performance opportunities available throughout the year.

I have a supportive nurturing style and enjoy working with students of all ages, from complete beginners to advanced. Beginning adults are also welcome! My students have performed at Carnegie Hall, won national competitions, are cast in leading roles in opera and musical theater, and gained acceptance at prestigious international performing arts colleges.

MONTLY LESSON TUITION: 30 min lesson $200/mo, 45 min lesson $300/mo

For our first meeting, we'll schedule a 30 min lesson and assessment: $40 ($50 value).
