I support my students through the entire college and high school admissions process, from test choice, to test prep, to school selection, application timeline management, and essay writing. My approach is holistic, caring, patient, and effective. 

I meet my students where they are and guide them toward their academic goals. As a professional essayist and editor about to publish my first book in 2025 with Simon & Schuster, I bring a writer's eye to the personal essay. When preparing for tests, we address content, strategy, focus, stamina, confidence, and performance, with the mindfulness tools and growth mindset I've honed over a decade of rock climbing. I also provide weekly academic support in all subjects, as well as help with organization, study skills, and any kind of writing. 

Since I graduated with honors from Brown University in 2001, I have tutored hundreds of students in grades K-12, with a focus on the middle and high school students with whom I have a special ability to connect. I have over twenty years of experience working with learners of all styles.
