Math/Science Tutoring

I've worked for the past 5 years as a dedicated math/science tutor in the Oakland/Berkeley/Piedmont area. I cover all science subjects: Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and all levels of math, Algebra through Calculus plus Statistics. I value making learning fun and engaging for my students, and always try to bring enthusiasm for the subject matter and the learning process. I think it's very important to build rapport with my students, since I've found that students learn best when they are in a comfortable situation. I'm doing only online tutoring currently, but pre-CoViD I usually came to my students and I hope to resume that once that option becomes available again. Also, in light of Covid, I've switched entirely to a sliding-scale for payment: I want to be able to help as many students as I can, especially with all the challenges distance-learning entails, and don't want payment to get in the way of their being able to access my services.
