Japanese Tutoring
Japanese
I love sharing the joy of speaking another language with others. I currently teach Japanese at the Bay Area Language Academy. I student-taught Japanese at Kenyon College, where I taught eight undergraduate students, five days a week. I led game-based activities and conversational exercises to reinforce grammar and vocabulary taught by the professor. I taught new grammar and kanji through creating worksheets and presentations. I was recently awarded a $4,000 grant to translate a book of Ishii Tatsuhiko’s poetry from Japanese into English. I am proficient in reading, writing, and conversation. I am excited to share my love of Japanese language and culture. I would love to meet with you and discuss your needs!
