Elementis Learning: Math and executive function tutoring for middle-schoolers

I teach math to kids in grades 4-9 using a holistic, personalized approach. I also provide help with executive functioning, which includes note-taking, homework, testing strategies, organization and time management. My goal is to help kids develop true math fluency (i.e., for basic facts / mental math skills, computation, and the ability to procedurally assess and adapt to different types of problems).

Subjects I teach

• Number theory: Arithmetic foundations, number systems, basic set theory
• Algebra I and II
• Geometry and trigonometry
• Probability and statistics (including data literacy)

About my services

• Rates: I offer Light, Standard and Intensive monthly packages based on the number of sessions per month (2x = $250/mo, 4x = $400/mo, 6x+ = $500+/mo, respectively). I do not offer single tutoring sessions.
• Starter package: $250, which includes initial free consultation, 1-hr introductory meeting, two 1-hr tutoring sessions, and assessment (optional)
• Location: I prefer in-person tutoring at my office location on Telegraph Ave in North Oakland. In special circumstances, I would be willing to come to you, provided you are located in the immediate vicinity (e.g., Oakland, Berkeley, Albany, Orinda, Lafayette, Moraga). I do not offer virtual tutoring.
