Drum Teacher Available

I am a Bay Area musician and drum teacher accepting new students. I currently teach 6 students ages 6 to 12 on Tuesdays. I have openings on Thursday afternoons.

I earned a BA in classical composition in 2001 with an emphasis on electro-acoustic music and an MFA in electronic music from California Institute of the Arts in 2010. I am an independent music producer currently based in the Bay Area and I regularly perform with several ensembles. 

I focus on music fundamentals and musicianship: learning songs, theory and reading notation.  

As a young person, I grew my self-confidence and self esteem through my music. I seek to instill these values of creativity and personal growth in the young people I work with.

I am now accepting new students of all ages. 

I teach from my studio here in Berkeley and can travel to you in the Berkeley area.  I also teach via Zoom.
