What's your plan for college admissions now that the SAT and ACT are optional?

The college essay matters more now than ever, and the essays my students have written have gotten them into Princeton, Stanford, Brown, Cornell, and Duke, as well as UCLA, UC Berkeley, and UC Santa Barbara.

My writing is published in over 70 literary journals, and this creative training allows me to tease out compelling college essays from students who may doubt they have a story to tell.

In my sessions, I create an environment of discipline and encouragement. Your child and I will map a plan towards a specific goal for each session. For long-term goals, I maintain frequent communication with parents in order to keep parent, student, and tutor accountable to a mutually agreed-upon plan.
