My name is Thaynara, I am Brazilian, and I work as a Portuguese teacher, mostly around Albany, Berkeley, Oakland, Emeryville, El Cerrito, and Richmond.
I teach Portuguese from age 4 to adult, and beyond just the language, I introduce students to the rich cultures of Portuguese-speaking countries, making each lesson a cultural adventure. Each session is customized to fit your child's learning style and pace. I offer interactive learning, using games, songs, stories, and multimedia, I create an immersive and enjoyable learning experience.
I only do home/in-person tutoring, and my rate is $ 40/hour per person, with a 1.5-hour minimum per visit, or 1 hour class if you live in Albany. I teach for a group of up to 3 people, with a negotiable hourly rate.
