6th-12th Grade Mathematics Tutor around UC Berkeley

Hi everyone! I'm Gen Hokamura, a current freshman at UC Berkeley studying mathematics, offering to provide tutoring services to middle and high school students. 

I have 4 years of tutoring experience, working with three long-term students, working at a local high school's afterschool tutoring program, and helping many friends informally. I also have experience working with a student with learning differences, so I’m comfortable adapting my teaching style to suit individual needs.

I’m based near the UC Berkeley Clark Kerr Campus Dorm and don’t drive, so I can only travel within a reasonable distance. I also prefer to meet in person for tutoring sessions, as I don’t have an iPad or other tools that make online tutoring easy. I’m happy to meet at nearby libraries, cafés, or other convenient spots.

My rates vary depending on the subject and level of math, so feel free to reach out, and we can discuss a plan that works for you.
