Looking for a great event planner for my daughters Bat Mitzvah
April 2011
I am looking for a good event planner for my daughters Bat Mitzvah. I want to work with someone professional and fun that will relate to my daughter. Also, someone that will stay in my budget. RS
Rabecca Faoli at Blue Moon Productions is awesome, easy, fun, reliable, and incredibly talented. beccatwinmom [at] yahoo.com http://www.yelp.com/biz/blue-moon-productions-oakland Also, last one I went to was really refreshing because they used these awesome teenagers that have started a DJ business. Two girls, two guys. The guys spin really fun music and the girls get everyone dancing. I'd asked the Mom about them and she said ''CHEAP!'', well obviously cause they are kids. Let me know if you want their info. Have Fun!!! Reenie

Event planner for Tenth Anniversary Party
March 2003
I am looking for an event planner to assist with a 10th anniversary party (50-75 people). Most event planners seem to either focus on weddings or on corporate events, and I'm hoping to find someone with experience in other types of private parties. I would need assistance with location (which may be my house), catering and decorations. The party would be either in the Oakland/Berkeley area or in San Francisco. Any suggestions would be welcome. Stephanie
Well, it seems like you need someone who has a lot of contacts and ideas. You should call Christophe (510)549-3760, he is a caterer and his partner is making beautiful decorations. They have been organizing events for more than 7 years in the area and know the best places for your budget. They can find you everything you are looking for and they are affordable. Trust their advices and let them be creative ! Feel free to contact me for more details if you want to. Good luck. Laura
I highly recommend Andrea at Event Details to help you plan your event. andrea AT eventdetails.com Nicole
I would highly recommend Namie Shin of ''Namie's Kitchen''. Although she is a caterer, she is also a great resource to event planning as she has done plenty of art gallery openings, private parties, weddings, etc in both Berkely and SF. She has great taste and a flair for one-of-a-kind style contingent on your theme or mood for the party, not to mention her food and presentation is excellent! She recently catered my son's birthday party and the food and presentation really exceeded my expectations. Good Luck.

Hi Stephanie- I may be the event planner you are looking for. My business is called Come to Your Senses Events, and we plan all manner of events, primarily for non-corporate clients. We are well versed in finding suitable locations, if you decide to have it outside your home, and specialize in planning private events with creative flair. Our new and improved website is currently under construction, so in the meanwhile I'd be happy to communicate the old fashioned way, by telephone. Please call me at 510-388-1548 -if I'm not in, please let me know some good times to reach you, and I'll call you back. Thanks! I have been an event planner for the last 6 years. Working with a small boutique house in Mountain View as well as a major destination management firm in San Francisco, I have experience in both Corporate Events as well as unique, creative events for individuals. I live in the East Bay, so I have a reasonable knowledge of what the area has to offer as well as a slightly whimsical personality, that gives me the ability to be a little less *corporate* and a little more *free spirited* when the situation arises. My rates are hourly so you don't pay the high mark-up for services that the industry usually tacks on. Let me help you create a little magic. Life's a banquet; eat your fill?I can help dish it up!
