Big, Old Dodge Engine needs an honest mechanic!

We have a '74 Dodge Titan - it's an RV. Has only 17K miles and runs great, except that it gets some sort of issue at high speeds (mostly) and we think it has to do with the carburator. The engine is a Dodge 440; does anyone know of a local mechanic that would have experience with these huge old engines - or at least be familiar with older model american engines - and give us an honest once-over? dodgetitan
