    Hi, I am new to San Francisco and would like to ask if there’s any recommendations for a great dentist in San Francisco, ideally the south side of the city for myself and a child. Thanks!

    Dr. Robert Ho was my dentist for 8 years.  He is very compassionate and gentle.  I was under his care even after I moved to East Bay for a while.  I recently had to change my dentist only because everything (work, home, 2 kids' daycares) are all in East Bay.   This is his Yelp Review:

    We have been going to Drs. Nathan Yang and Joanne Jeng for over 13 years. They are caring and conservative and put the health of your teeth ahead of their profits.  They'll never try to talk you into unnecessary procedures.

    You will not find better dentists or nicer people.

    He's not on the south side of the city, but in the Richmond district. His name is Randolph Yip and I've been seeing him for over two decades. He also teaches dentistry at UCSF. Anyway, I trust him and like him and he does good work. I highly recommend him!

    I've been seeing Dr. Kathy Noordeh for over 15 years and am very happy. Love the hygienist Zora, very kind and I get a great cleaning. They are at 450 Sutter (a ton of Dentists in that building.)

    I like Dr. Puno at Cosmetic Dentistry Associates in One Embarcadero Center. (Ignore the name, they are not limited to cosmetic dentistry.)

    I can definitely recommend either Dr. Polly Rivas or Dr. Russel Taylor (both in the same practice -- Dr. Polly Rivas & Associates); their office is right by Union Square.  I also know people who love Dr. Claude Sidi, whose office is also off of Union Square.  You can check out more reviews for them on Yelp, I'm sure.
