After taking a recommendation from BPN and interviewing several other daycares, we can't believe how lucky we were to find Virginia's Family Daycare. Our daughter has been with Virginia for 2 1/2 years where she thrived. Virginia is very caring, loving and very good natured. She helped potty train our daughter and kept her on a schedule, we couldn't be happier.

Virginia Rico's background is 16 years of professional childcare experience, including Berkeley's Model School. She has a fully licensed home daycare where she has created a safe and playful environment. Virginia has a fenced in yard and gets the children out a lot. She does arts, crafts and many other activities with them.

Our daughter is now in preschool but still asks when she can go to Virginia's. We will always be grateful to Virginia for taking such wonderful care of our daughter during those precious but vulnerable years. She has openings for infants through 6 yrs old, full-time and part-time.

After taking a recommendation of BPN, we can't believe how lucky we are to have found Virginia's Family Daycare. My daughter has been cared for by Virginia since she was 6 months old after I returned to work. She is now 16 months and she loves it there so much she often cries when I pick her up at the end of the day. Virginia and her sisters are so loving, caring and good. Virginia has tons of toys, books and outdoor activities (no TV anywhere). My daughter is just thriving under her care.

She is bilingual Spanish/English. She has a fully licensed home daycare where she has created a safe, playful environment. HER RATE IS INCREDIBLY REASONABLE: $6.25/hr. We are so happy with Virginia's Family Daycare, and our 3 year old son loves it! Virginia Rico's 15 years of professional childcare experience really shows in the nurturing, creative way she works with children. At Berkeley's Model School, where she cared for my nephew, she worked in the infant/toddler rooms for 8 years, then was a preschool teacher for 5.

She now has a fully licensed home daycare where she has created a safe, playful environment. HER RATE IS INCREDIBLY REASONABLE: $5/hr for 2 - 5 yr. olds, $6.25 for infant - 2 yrs. She has a fenced in yard, and gets the kids out a lot. She does arts, crafts, cooking and many other activities with them.

She has openings for infants through 5 yr olds, full-time and part-time. (My son goes "as needed" for a higher rate because of my work situation). I like that Virginia gets down on the floor and plays with the kids, yet also knows how to set constructive limits. The best recommendation is that Aiden often asks "Can I go to Virginia's today?"
