New Beginnings Daycare/Preschool

We are so happy to have found New Beginnings. Tonja is warm and nurturing, and has a calm, gentle presence which is such a good fit for our energetic and chatty 2 year old. Our daughter’s been going there for 6 months and I can tell how much she loves it because she’s always naming her “friends” and talking about “Tonna.” We love that it’s a smaller, home-based daycare and that our daughter can have close relationships with everyone there. We also enjoy seeing our daughter’s artwork and projects that we didn’t think was possible for her to make at such a young age. Just like the other reviews, we highly recommend New Beginnings. The environment is safe and clean and everyone associated with the daycare is so kind and drama-free. 

First and foremost, I want to say that Tonja and her mother are BEYOND excellent! They are so professional and big-hearted. My son has been going to New Beginnings for almost 3 years now and he loves it. Tonja and her mother go above and beyond with the kids, teaching them new things each and everyday. My son started learning how to read and write when he was about 1 1/2 years old, thanks to Tonja and her mother!They really take their time with each and every kid, allowing them to learn not only visually but hands on, as well. It’s more like a second home rather than daycare, to us. I would absolutely recommend New Beginnings daycare to anyone who is looking for a very comfortable, clean, safe environment for their child. They make my son feel safe and eager to come to school each and everyday without a doubt. I am thankful for Tonja and her mother for all of their hard work and dedication. Definitely 10/10 recommended!

Our son has been attending New Beginnings for almost two years now…. We love it!

When it was time for our son to go to daycare, we took a chance with New Beginnings. Little did we know at the time that it was one of the best decisions we have made for him.

Tonja, the daycare provider, and sometimes the help from her mother, Kathy, offers a clean, safe and fun environment for the children that she cares for. She offers snacks and meals, fun activities, and many opportunities for learning through out the day. Friends and family often comment how much our son is able to say and do, and we owe a lot to the care at New Beginnings. We like to call it “school” more than a daycare because she definitely likes to use educational activities daily.


We appreciate everything that New Beginnings has offered for our son and we are grateful how much it has helped us as parents. Especially after this tough year, we felt very safe having him go to daycare and have it be a consistent, structured and safe environment for him, while us parents were able to continue to work.

You know it’s a great place to be when your son gets excited every morning and as we approach he runs to the steps, rings the door bell, sees Tonja and runs inside without looking back.
