Kidsland West Berkeley

Our little one started day care in the new year at a different in-home daycare and we gave it a good chance knowing that transitions are hard. By 6 weeks, we we're searching to move him as soon as possible due to a variety of concerns. 

Then we found Erika and Kidsland! I worried that moving him so soon would restart the process of hardship and worried he would be very unsettled to switch care again. Not at all the case – it only took a day with Erika for our little guy to return to his normal happy self. At the second day drop-off, he easily joined the group without tears and at pick-up he didn't want to leave. I am amazed, relieved, and at ease now knowing he's in good hands. I'm so excited to see all that he gets up to in the coming months or year(s). I am so grateful to find care that celebrates and stimulates our special guy.

Our little guy has been at Kidsland West Berkeley for almost six months now and we are all thrilled with the experience. I was nervous about leaving him with new people, but Erika made the transition very easy. Now he's excited to see Erika and Andrea in the mornings!

Erika and Andrea are clearly very warm with our child and keep him engaged throughout the day. He's been learning new skills that it wouldn't have occurred to us to work on. He gets lots of music and outdoor time. And they are both very communicative about how he's been feeling, whether he is eating, how well he is napping, and so on. It gives us great peace of mind knowing he's with people who really enjoy spending time with him and care for his well being.

We couldn’t be happier with Kidsland West Berkeley daycare! Erika and Andrea have been absolutely wonderful in every aspect. Our daughter started with them at just 6 months old when my husband and I had to return to work full time. It was a nerve-wracking experience entering into an unknown situation, but Erika and Andrea immediately made us feel so comfortable. Their warmth, professionalism, and clear love for the children they care for gave us immense peace of mind. 

Erika and Andrea are incredibly caring, patient, and attentive, and it’s clear they genuinely love what they do. From the very beginning, they have been exceptionally communicative, keeping us updated on everything from our daughter's daily activities to her progress and any important details. 

One of the standout features of their daycare is the Spanish immersion aspect, which we absolutely love. It’s amazing to think that Isabell will be picking up Spanish so naturally while engaging in fun and enriching activities. Erika and Andrea have created a warm and nurturing environment where the kids thrive, and the added bonus of language development is something we truly value. 

We are so grateful to have found such a dedicated and loving daycare. Erika and Andrea have far exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend them to any family looking for outstanding care for their little ones!
