Re: A getaway for only one night
Try the Olema Druids Hall. This was a fraternal organization (the Druids) whose building was converted into B/inn. It has a cottage and a small number of rooms. We stayed in the Grand Suite a couple of years ago and it was, well, grand. It's also a minute away from the Olema Inn, which has a wonderful restaurant. http://www.olemadruidshall.com/his.html

RE: One-night stay for group in West Marin
Try the Olema Druids Hall...at Hwy 1 and Sir Francis Drake, very close to Pt. Reyes Station and Inverness. My husband and I stayed there a year ago and found the inn comfortable and well- appointed. Plus they allowed one-night stays. As I remember, they had several rooms of various sizes, so it could work out for a small group. More info at www.olemadruidshall.com Laura
