My dentist, Dr. Potter, is worth the trek into SF. (He's in 450 Sutter, the big ''dentist'' building near Stockton St.) He's gentle, explains every issue thoroughly and plus his staff is kind and competent. He was a pharmacist who had such trouble with his teeth that he ended up going back to school to become a dentist, and he has real sympathy for his patients. (415) 391- 5207 Ann S
