I highly recommend Dr. Jeff Brucia, who is on Washington Square in North Beach, well worth the short trip from downtown. I saw him for several years, and my husband continues to see him, even after moving from SF to Berkeley 3 years ago. He's very gentle, personable, knowledgeable (teaches at the University of the Pacific Dental School), up on all the latest technology...His office was recently renovated, and is quiet, comfortable, and state of the art. However, he is conservative, and will only do what you are ready for, can afford, and really need. I think he takes most insurance. 415-421-3645. Heidi
