For Baby and Me

For Baby and Me offers classes in respectful infant and toddler care for parents and professional caregivers based on the Resources for Infant Educarers (RIE) approach founded by Magda Gerber and popularized by RIE Associates like Janet Lansbury. With an emphasis on mindful caregiving practices, we give you the tools to better understand your baby's needs and capabilities, respond to baby more consciously, and build the secure attachment that makes parenting easier and protects against adversity. We offer baby care preparation classes for expecting parents (RIE Before Baby) and "mommy & me" classes (RIE Parent-infant guidance) for parents and babies age 4-24 months in Berkeley, CA. For Baby and Me is led by Jennifer Doebler, RIE Associate and MA in Human Development.
